How you can help fund vital operations for children

The lack of access to safe and timely surgery around the world is now a bigger killer of children than malaria, HIV and TB combined.  We’re working hard to change that by directly funding surgery for children who don’t have access to the medical care they need. This is how you can help fund vital medical care:

We hold three fundraising events a year that are vital in funding our clinics.  In partnership with XNRG we hold three ultra marathons every year that help us raise money.  Participants can choose to either donate their entrance fee or fundraise to cover the cost of an entire operation.  The partnership has been incredibly successful over the years raising thousands of pounds and funding hundreds of operations.

You can also choose to donate to specific patient by donating to a patients profile.  You can donate from as a little as £5 or cover the entire cost of their surgery.

Or you can become a regular donor.  This allows us a steady stream of income helping us able to plan our clinics in advance and to know how many operations we can commit to taking on.

Donations that aren’t made to a specific profile go to our Universal Fund and are distributed between helping us top up profiles that have almost reached their fundraising goal and our Glasses for Classes program.
