2-yr-old Isham was born with a dermoid cyst on his neck, a condition that caused a noticeable swelling and increasing concern for his family.
Isham’s dermoid cyst is non cancerous and they are often slow growing however, if they grow large they can be uncomfortable and risk infection.
If our patients only option is surgery we don’t wait for donations to come in. We underwrite the costs and book in the operation.
The operation was successfully carried out by maxillofacial surgeon Dr Adrian Kamulegeya, giving Isham the opportunity for a healthier and more comfortable childhood.
