Umar

Eleven-month-old Umar had already endured more than any child should. Born with hypospadias, he also suffered complications from a poorly performed circumcision, leaving him in discomfort and at risk of ongoing medical issues if left untreated.

For his family, finding the specialized surgical care needed to correct both conditions felt overwhelming. Through Humanity Direct, however, Umar was able to access the expertise required for this delicate and complex case.
