Rehema has now returned to school after her adenoid surgery.
Adenoids can become nearly the size of a ping pong ball and can completely block airflow through the nasal passages causing problems including persistent congestion, ear problems, sinusitis, disruption to sleep and problems eating.
Rehema had extremely enlarged adenoids that caused her several painful bouts of earache and sore throats, disrupting her ability to attend school.
We're so pleased that after surgery, performed by ENT surgeon, Dr Wambete, that Rehema is now back at school.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the XNRG Amersham Ultra that meant we could cover the costs of Rehema's operation.
