11-year-old Ramadhan recently underwent successful surgery for an undescended testis—a condition where one or both testicles fail to move into the correct position in the scrotum before birth.
Left untreated, this condition can lead to serious long-term health issues, including increased risk of testicular cancer, hernias, and ongoing pain or discomfort. Early surgical intervention is crucial to prevent these complications and support normal development during adolescence.
Thanks to the skilled work of our surgical team and the generosity of Humanity Direct donors, Ramadhan received the operation he needed. The procedure corrected the position of the testis, ensuring he now has a much healthier and safer path forward.
Your donations covered the cost of surgery, medical supplies, transport, and post-operative care—removing the financial burden from Ramadhan’s family and making this life-changing treatment possible.
Now recovering well, Ramadhan can look ahead to a healthier future, all thanks to your support.
