Lillian can breath properly again after adenoid surgery

Ten-year-old Lillian had been struggling with enlarged tonsils and adenoids, which were making it difficult for her to breathe comfortably.

She experienced difficulty breathing, loud snoring and restless sleep, preventing her from getting the restful sleep she needed. Her condition also began to affect her eating, and she lost weight because she was unable to take in enough food.

Lillian needed specialist surgery to remove her enlarged tonsils and adenoids and improve her airway. Through Humanity Direct, she was able to access the treatment she needed, with Dr Daglas Kagga performing the operation.

The surgery was successful, giving Lillian the opportunity to breathe more easily, sleep more peacefully and eat comfortably again. With her health improving, she can now focus on growing, learning and enjoying childhood without the difficulties her condition had caused.
