Joel can now breath easily again after adenoid surgery

3-yr-old Joel can now breath properly after surgery to correct enlarged adenoids.

Joel had been struggling for some time as the enlarged adenoids were blocking his nasal airway causing him to breath loudly through his mouth affecting his eating and sleeping.

His mother had also described a couple of incidents that sounded like it was causing sleep apnoea where a child stops breathing for a couple of seconds while asleep and then starts again, so an incredibly frightening experience.

Now, thanks to the donation from Claire Henriques, we've been able to pay the bill for Joel's surgery, an adenoid tonsillectomy, performed by Dr Julius Wambete.

The donation covered the costs of the surgery, medical supplies used and a two-week course of pain relief so he could make a comfortable recovery.

Joel can now look forward to a healthier, happier future, free from the discomfort.
