Gabriel has had life changing surgery

15-yr-old Gabriel's life has been transformed by timely surgery.

Gabriel had been living with a dermoid cyst beneath his jaw that started as a small lump but gradually grew larger and more painful. As it expanded, it began to interfere with his ability to eat, speak, and sleep, badly affecting his life.

Dermoid cysts do not resolve on their own. Without treatment, they can become infected, press on nearby structures, and lead to long-term complications. As Gabriel’s condition worsened, surgery became urgently necessary.

Maxillofacial surgeon Dr Daniel Macho successfully performed a complete excision of the cyst and repaired the affected area. The operation went well, and Gabriel is now recovering, free from pain and able to return to his normal activities with renewed comfort and confidence.
