Benedict got the medical care he needed

17-yr-old Benedict is back to full health after his surgery.

We often meet children like Benedict whose condition is far worse because they didn't have access to the safe and timely surgery when they needed it.

Unfortunately, as Benedict couldn’t access the medical care he needed for testicular torsion, the blood supply was cut off and instead of an easy, non surgical repair his only option was surgery to remove the testicle.

Thankfully we were able to organise the surgery he needed and the bill for his treatment has been cleared because of our amazing fundraisers who took part in our XNRG fundraiser.

Donations covered all the costs associated with Benedict’s surgery including transport, the actual surgery and post-op care.

This is just one of the operations we've been able to fund thanks to the September XNRG ultra.
