Aminah’s Surgery Success: Why Your Support Matters

Aminah recently underwent surgery to treat adenoid hypertrophy—a condition where enlarged adenoids, sometimes almost as big as the size of a ping pong ball, block airflow through the nasal passages. Even when they don’t completely block the airway, enlarged adenoids make breathing through the nose difficult and uncomfortable.

This condition can cause persistent congestion, ear infections, sinusitis, disrupted sleep, and even problems with eating—significantly impacting quality of life.

Thanks to Bob Yates' and his amazing 1000 mile fundraiser Aminah’s surgery was possible. She is now breathing more freely, sleeping better, and on the path to a healthier, happier life.
