12-year-old Alvin can now breath easily once again after surgery to remove enlarged adenoids.

Alvin had struggled with adenoids for years causing him repeated throat infections and earache.  It can be an incredibly uncomfortable condition and for children like Alvin surgery is the only option.

Donations covered the cost of an adenoid tonsillectomy, performed by Dr Julius Wambete.

Alvin's operation is one of many funded by Bob Yate's epic 1000 mile challenge that raised £10,000.  On behalf of Alvin, his family and everyone at HD a huge thank you to everyone who donated to make this possible.
