Alfred is running around again after successful surgery!

2-yr-old Alfred is back to running around with his friends after surgery for hypospadias.

Left untreated hypospadias - a condition that affects the ability to urinate correctly - can increase the risk of urinary tract infections and as urine leaks onto skin, it can create painful wounds also risking infections.  In the areas where we work any infection is serious as without bandages and medication children can become seriously ill.

Alfred's parents no longer have to worry as he has now had the operation he needed to correct the condition.

This is one of the many operations funded by Bob Yates 1000 mile fundraiser.
