Edwin has had successful surgery

We're delighted to announce that Edwin has successfully undergone surgery to correct severe hypospadias! This simple yet life-changing procedure has corrected the position of his urethra, enabling him to urinate properly.

Before surgery, Edwin's condition made daily life a struggle. The constant risk of urine leakage was not only uncomfortable and stigmatising but also put him at a higher risk of urinary tract infections, that posed long-term health risks to his bladder and kidneys.

Thanks to Will, who took on his first ultra, raising an outstanding £385, Edwin’s surgery and all related costs—including the actual surgery, transportation to and from the hospital and post-op care—were fully covered.

This operation has given Edwin newfound confidence and freedom. He can now attend school and play with friends without fear or discomfort.

As Edwin's operation was only £150 the remaining £235 will be allocated to other patients who have almost reached their fundraising target.
