Fourteen-year-old Janat had been living with a fibroma that steadily affected her comfort and confidence. What began as a small growth became more noticeable over time and had started to disfigure her face.

Through Humanity Direct, Janat was able to access the surgery she needed. She was referred to maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Adrian Kamulegeya, who assessed her condition and planned the surgery to safely remove the fibroma.

The operation was successful.

Janat is now recovering well, with the growth successfully removed and the discomfort she once experienced already easing. As she heals, she is beginning to regain not only her physical comfort but also her self-confidence.
