Kick off the year with the XNRG Amersham Ultra, the first in a series of three 50km trail ultramarathons showcasing the stunning routes of the Chiltern Hills.
Whether you’re a walker opting for the 8 am start or a speedster selecting the 9 am or 10 am waves, this event is open to all abilities.
These events are a favourite among participants—nearly 1 in 4 are returning entrants, and 40% of Amersham 50km participants have completed at least one other race in the series over the past two years.
On 8th March 2025, XNRG is proud to once again partner with Humanity Direct, a charity dedicated to funding life-saving operations for children in need. Secure your spot in this incredible one-day ultra for FREE by either fundraising for a Humanity Direct patient or donating the entry fee.
It’s easy! Instead of paying an entry fee for the one-day ultra marathon, XNRG asks you to either donate the equivalent amount to fund a vital operation or create a fundraising page to raise as much as you can—at minimum, the cost of entry.
Spots fill up quickly! This event offers a unique opportunity to run or walk 31 breathtaking miles through the Chiltern Hills for FREE when you commit to raising funds for patients in need.
Alternatively, you can simply donate your entry fee. Every penny goes directly toward funding life-saving or life-improving surgeries for children, while you take on an inspiring personal challenge in 2025.
Each year Humanity Direct raises significant funds through the three Humanity Direct Ultras, helping fund life-saving and life-changing operations for many underprivileged children and we are hoping to help even more in 2025.
