Seven-month-old Ryan was born with a significant congenital abnormality affecting the development of his lower urinary tract, that only surgery could correct.

Through Humanity Direct, Ryan was able to access timely the corrective surgery he urgently needed. The procedure, to restore normal function, was carried out by urologist Dr Dan Namaguzi.

Ryan has recovered well under close medical supervision. This early intervention has made a life-changing difference. It has reduced the risk of future complications and given Ryan a far healthier start in life.
