Elijah

Elijah has had the surgery he needed for a large tumour.

Elijah’s condition began with a small swelling on the right side of his upper jaw, but as it increased in size it became painful, making eating and speaking difficult and distorting his face.

Now, thanks to the money raised at the XNRG March Ultra, Elijah has had the surgery to remove the tumour, performed by experienced maxillofacial surgeon Dr Kamulegeya.

Elijah has made a strong recovery and is now eating and talk comfortably once again. The visible signs of the swelling has been resolved, restoring not only his appearance but also his confidence too.  Elijah’s story is a powerful reminder of how timely surgical intervention can change a life.
