Warid has made a great recovery after complex surgery.

Born with an anal imperforate - a condition where the opening to the anus is missing or blocked - he spent his early days battling discomfort, difficulty passing stools, and the constant risk of infection. Simple bodily functions that most children manage naturally became painful. Without surgical intervention, Warid’s health and development would have been severely affected.

Thanks to the skill and dedication of Dr. Ssekabira, Warid underwent reconstructive surgery. This delicate procedure has given him the chance to digest and eliminate waste normally, something that was previously impossible.

This life-changing operation was fully funded by everyone who took part in the September XNRG Ultra.  The money raised paid for every aspect of Warids medical care.
