Noeline's had the surgery she needed to remove a large tumour

8-yr-old Noeline has now returned to primary school, after safe surgery to remove a large benign tumour on her neck.

Noeline had missed a year of primary school because the tumour was causing her so much pain and there were concerns it could impinge upon her throat affecting her ability to eat and breathe properly.

The operation, performed by Maxillofacial Consultant Dr Gonza, was a success and Noeline and her mum no longer have to worry.

Noeline's mum said: "I'm so grateful to see my daughter back to normal, we thought this could not happen as we had no money to pay for the necessary treatment. Thank you for giving this great support to us and for saving my daughter’s life."

Donations covered every aspect of Noeline's medical care including a few nights staying in hospital so she could be closely monitored until Dr Gonza was happy to discharge her.
