Marvin has made a great recovery after his vital surgery

Marvin is happy and healthy once again. 

We’re happy to update that 3-year-old Marvin has successfully received surgery to for a large hernia and he’s now back to doing what he loves most: running around and playing, pain-free!

Marvin had been living with a large hernia causing him daily discomfort and posing a serious risk of life-threatening complications if left untreated. In Uganda, hernias are all too common in young children due to limited access to prenatal care, nutritional challenges, and lack of early surgical intervention.

Marvin's surgery went smoothly, and every part of his care—from the operation itself to medical supplies, transportation, and post-op support—was fully funded by your donations made to Bob Yates fundraiser.  A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.
