Two-year-old Nicholas has had life-saving brain surgery thanks to our amazing donors. Nicholas had hydrocephalus which is a huge build up of water on the brain. The condition caused his head to swell leaving him struggling to walk. Surgery should have been done ages ago but there simply wasn’t the access to such healthcare until our volunteers visited his village. Without this surgery Nicholas would have become less and less able to function. Now he has made a fantastic recovery and is expected to take his first steps soon. A huge thank you to the anonymous donors who made this possible. This is a small film taken shortly after our surgeon performed his operation.
