Two-year-old Rauben is your typical active little boy. He has been diagnosed with hydrocele - a collection of fluid around the scrotum. The hydrocele isn’t painful itself but the swelling that accompanies it is causing Rauben discomfort especially as he is so active. Surgeons have recommended that he has a hydrocelectomy - a straightforward operation typical of the low-cost, high impact surgery we fund.
Rauben’s mother desperately wants her son to have the operation but she is on her own and would never be able to afford such an expense.
Every penny donated will cover the cost of surgery as well as the post-operative care and transport to and from the hospital.
