Nicholas from Uganda is almost two years old and has Hydrocephalus, which is fluid on the brain. This very serious condition means that Nicholas’s growth is incredibly slow and he is not yet able to walk. Doctors have told us that his surgery should have been carried out a long time ago, and that without an operation Nicholas will simply become less and less functional as time goes on. Hydrocephalus can be a fatal if left untreated or severely hamper a child’s development but Nicholas’s family simply do not have the funds with which to pay for any surgery. All money that is donated for Nicholas will go towards the full cost of the surgery as well as any pre and post operative care that he needs.
