One-year-old Morgan has just started walking and loves his new found independence. Morgan has hypospadias - a congenital malformation of the urethra in boys where the urinary opening is not at the correct location. Surgery is the only way to correct this condition. The operation is straightforward and surgeon’s like to operate on patients with this condition when they are younger rather than older as it can be an embarrassing condition to grow up with and has been linked to an increased risk of testicular cancer and urinary tract infections. Morgan’s family are poor and cannot afford the cost of surgery. Donations to fund Morgan’s treatment will cover the actual surgery as well as medical supplies and post-operative care.
