Mohamed is 2-years-old and from Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland. He is a mischievous little boy, with bundles of energy and a cheeky smile. Mohamed was badly burned by a cooking fire a year ago while playing. His right leg and ankle developed a contracture which restricts movement of the joint that is very uncomfortable and is leaving him struggling to walk properly. Mohamed needs a skin graft and surgery to release the contracture, but his family lack the means to pay for his treatment. The cost of his treatment will cover surgical and medical supplies, including dressings, as well as the complete cost of his post-operative care.
