Majorine from Uganda is two-years-old and suffering with a large hernia that doctors are keen to operate on as soon as possible. Due to the pain and discomfort from the hernia, Majorine is unable to sleep at night, leading to constant sleepless nights for her and her mother. Majorine’s family would not be able to pay for the surgery by themselves unless they put themselves into debt, ultimately pushing them further into poverty, which is why they visited our clinic in Uganda. Hernia operations are very typical of the low-cost and high impact surgeries that we help fund. Every penny donated would go towards Majorine’s operation as well as any pre or post operative care that she may need.
