2-year-old Lucky is a very lively young boy. His mother noticed a few months ago a hard little lump on the back of his head. They live in a remote village with no nearby medical facilities so it wasn’t until our healthcare volunteers visited her village that she managed to show someone the lump. During that period of time the lump had grown in size and it seemed to be causing Lucky some pain as he couldn’t bare for anyone to touch it. Worried that the lump was infected our volunteers bought lucky and his mum to the central hospital where it was confirmed that Lucky needed the lump to be surgically removed. Lucky’s mum couldn’t afford transport to her nearest medical facility so being able to afford the cost of an operation is out of the question. Donations will cover the cost of the surgery as well as the costs of the transport to and from the hospital.
