Little Ibrahim has a hernia. These are easily the most common operations we fund as so many children have them. If complications set in they can prove fatal as emergency surgery is needed that most the families we work with in rural areas simply don’t have access too. Ibrahim’s mother would love to be able to pay for his treatment but medical care is so prohibitively expensive that she would have to get into debt and further poverty to pay for the surgery. No child should go without the medical care they need. We’re hoping that we can cover the cost so Ibrahim’s mum no longer has to worry.
