One-year-old Garison has now had his surgery to correct bilateral cryptorchidism (otherwise known as undescended testis - where the testis remain in the abdomen rather than the scrotum). The £196 donated helped us cover every aspect of his surgery including transport to and from hospital (often the biggest barrier to getting medical care) the medical supplies used and his post operative care. Donations have also helped in the fight against global poverty as we’ve also prevented Garison’s family having to get into debt and further poverty to cover the costs. On behalf of Garison, his family & everyone at Humanity Direct a huge Thank You for making this happen. The fantastic Dr Sekabira explains how the operation went.
