How much of the donation reaches patients?

It is important for our donors to understand how much of the donation reaches patients. We know they want to see how their contributions are used. We also want to ensure transparency and accountability in the distribution of funds.

How much of the donation reaches patients?

Every penny donated goes directly to our work in Uganda. From paying for the petrol and upkeep of the vans we use, to transporting the patients, to paying for the hospital supplies and administration expenses for each child.

The bank fees incurred from transferring sums to Uganda from the UK are untenable for a charity to pay. We are extremely grateful to have private donors that specifically cover those costs.

Of our UK team, Marc, Nick and Katrina are the only three people that are involved on a daily basis and none of them take any financial payment or salary. It is Nick and Katrina that regularly travel to Uganda to oversee the projects in person. All of their travel to visit projects is paid for out of their own pocket.
