Zubedah has a large, painful cyst the size of a golf ball on her right hand. The cyst has steadily grown and its size and location, between her wrist and hand, means Zubedah can no longer move her hand properly making it increasingly hard for her to be able to write which is affecting her school work. Cysts also carry a big risk of infection that can lead to further medical complications. The operation is straightforward and would make a huge difference to Zubedah’s life. It is also a typical example of the low-cost, high-impact surgery we fund. Donations would cover the costs of the surgery, medical supplies and even the transport to and from hospital.
