So with all races cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future I needed something to train for, so when Humanity Directs & XNRG email popped into my inbox about running 6,318 miles from Princes Riseborough (the start of XNRG’s cancelled Chiltern Challenge) to Kampala, Uganda, I thought why not. Obviously I am not doing this on my own, it’s a collective run, jog, walk.
I am raising money for Shafik who needs correct surgery for a congenital birth defect. He’s only six.
I am going to run as many miles as possible between 1-11th July culminating on a 50k or 32 mile run with friends on 11th July.
Please give what you can, whatever it is, it will go a long way to help. 100% of money donated goes towards the surgery & aftercare. All the admin is covered by the people who run the charity. I have run a number of hte XNRG/Humanity Direct events and the Team are great.
