Running the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail - 142 miles in 5 days - in July to raise money to fund 16 surgeries.
As part of Team Alfi, I completed 3 marathons in 3 days for the Jurassic Coast Challenge last year, raising over £1500 for Humanity Direct, funding life changing surgeries for 7 young people and children in the developing world.
This year, I’m going bigger, and am gunning for the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail - a 142 mile race across 5 days in Spain’s Poniendo Grandisio area of Andalusia (between Malaga and the Sierra Navada National Park). With July temperatures normally sitting between 35 and 45 degrees, and being my longest endurance race to date, this will be quite the challenge!
I’d love your support as I look to help fund surgeries for 16 children and young people, whose quality of life will be dramatically changed by receiving these medical procedures. Whether it’s £5, or £50, every bit helps.
In preparation for Spain, I’ll be running the following events (and expect this to increase)...
4th Mar: Victoria Park Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
11th Mar: Amersham Ultra, organised by Humanity Direct - 31 miles
2nd Apr: Wimbledon Common Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
23rd Apr: London Marathon - 26.2 miles
6th May: Marlborough Downs Challenge - 33 miles
10th - 14th Jul: Al Andalus Ultimate Trail, 142 miles
I can’t wait for what will be an incredible 5 days, and I’m so excited about this opportunity! Thank you for your support.
