Taking on Deadwater - a 235 mile race over 6 days in August 2018 - to continue raising funds for an incredible cause.
In 2017 I raised over £1,700 of my £3,111 target through some incredible support, as I completed the Al Andalus Ultimate Trail - a142 miles (230km) race over 5 days in Spain’s Poniendo Grandisio area of Andalusia, coming 18th of out 72.
2018 sees me looking to continue fundraising for this incredible cause, with Deadwater, a 235 miles (380km) 6 day race now booked for August 2018. This race is almost completely self supported - my tent will be taken from campsite to campsite and pitched for me, but I will need to carry all my food, clothing and sleeping bag/mat.
Confirmed races for 2018 include...
January - Victoria Park Half Marathon, 13.1 miles
February - Tel Aviv Marathon, 26.2 miles
March - Humanity Direct Amersham Ultra (with Xnrg), 31 miles
April - Brighton Marathon, 26.2 miles
May - Devon Coast Challenge, 78.6 miles over 3 Days
August - Deadwater, 235 miles over 6 days
I’d love your support as I look to help fund surgeries for 16 children and young people, whose quality of life will be dramatically changed by receiving these medical procedures. Whether it’s £5, or £50, every bit helps. Thank you so much to everyone who supported me in 2017 - your donations have made a huge difference to those who really need them, and also have helped keep me going when it has got tough.
Humanity Direct do some incredible work, and I’m so chuffed to be working with them and raising funds and awareness for a third year in a row.
