Join the ultra marathon experience with a difference—donate your entry fee or pledge to raise funds instead of paying to participate. Your contribution will help transform the lives of children in developing countries who urgently need surgery.
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a team event alongside the 50km Ultra and the ‘Half Ultra’ options.
Whether you’re a walker opting for the early 8 am start or a speedster choosing between the 9 am or 10 am waves, we welcome participants of all levels.
Our events are incredibly popular, with nearly 1 in 4 participants returning year after year. 40% of those entering the Amersham 50km have completed at least one other race in the series within the past two years.
This year, take on the Ultra as part of a team of up to 5 members! You decide how to split the course, but handovers must occur at the standard Ultra checkpoints. Please note that teams are responsible for transporting members to their designated handover points.
Team entry is simple—you’ll register on behalf of your group and provide the names and basic details of your teammates. Changes to your team can be made right up until the event. Keep in mind that our standard cancellation and deferral policies apply, and any requests will cover the entire team.
It’s straightforward! Instead of paying an entry fee for the one-day ultra marathon, XNRG invites you to make a donation equivalent to the entry fee to fund a life-changing operation. Alternatively, you can set up a fundraising page and aim to raise as much as you can, with a minimum target equal to the entry fee.
Spots for this event fill quickly! This is your chance to run or walk 31 miles (or 17 miles with the shorter option) through the breathtaking Chiltern Hills—completely FREE—when you commit to fundraising for patients in need.
Best of all, 100% of donations directly fund essential surgeries for children in Africa through Humanity Direct.
