Hello, I'm Bob!
I’m celebrating my 60th Birthday by taking on an EPIC challenge of running from Land’s End to John O’Groats – all in support of Humanity Direct.

I'll be undertaking eight marathons over the course of five months before I line up at the start line on 30th May at Lands End.
Run Britannia is the event. With a distance of 1634 km - over a 1000 miles - I'll be tackling hills, mountains, moors and valleys.
It's going to be a challenge, but one that I'm prepared for - especially as I have the support of my family, friends, employer, Vectaire workmates and friends from Handy Cross Runners Club!
Please join me in celebrating my 60th, and help me raise money to fund operations for children who don't have access to the medical care they need.

Every penny donated goes directly to our work in Uganda. From paying for the petrol and upkeep of the vans we use, to transporting the patients, to paying for the hospital supplies and administration expenses for each child.
Humanity Direct has funded over 1000 lifesaving and life changing operations
From skin grafts to neurosurgery as well as surgery for hernias, cataracts, tumours, and congenital defects.
Neema was one of the first patients to have their surgery funded after being bitten by a snake. The operation saved her leg. This is Neema walking again after surgery.

Glasses For Classes was launched in 2019 providing glasses for children with the poorest eyesight.
We’ve tested over 20,000 eyes and over 2000 children have received a pair of glasses so they can see clearly for the first time.
A pair of glasses can transform a child’s life, helping them see their studies and remain in school.
