As we start getting ready for our next Ultra in July, here’s our quick video of the last event in March in Amersham:
We had an amazing day out on Saturday at the 2018 Humanity Direct Chiltern Ultra
Fund Life Saving Medical Care for a Child in Need instead of Receiving Birthday Presents
The second annual Humanity Direct Amersham Ultra took place last weekend and although it was just a little bit muddy, the event was a big success.
Instead of buying another dozen roses or chocolates for the special person in your life, make a donation in their name and the two of you can spread the love to a child in need of medical care
Instead of receiving presents for the Christmas this year, turn the most special time of year into an opportunity to raise money for essential medical care for children in need.
Since teaming up with XNRG, we’ve hosted almost a dozen one day ultra marathons to raise funds for medical care. For first time ultra runners in particular, we think the Humanity Direct events are the best ultras around. The welcoming atmosphere and scenic routes are just some of the reasons that on average more than a third of our runners at each event are doing their first ultra. So if you’re looking to try an ultra, or have already signed up to our events later this year in July ...
What an amazing day. Huge congratulations to all those who took on the Chiltern Challenge. Just stepping up to the start line of an ultra takes real courage. We’d also like to say thank you for making it such a brilliant day for all, and for your amazing fundraising for Humanity Direct. Your efforts raised more than £12,000 and will change so many lives.
There were great performances throughout the field, but special congratulations go to the overall winners: Rosemary Hurford and Ben...
Another Humanity Direct Ultra is in the books. The Amersham event last weekend was a great success! The event was sold out for the first time, and we raised over £13,000 which went directly to our school spectacle program in Uganda. Keep en eye on our twitter and facebook feeds for updates from Uganda.
