The 2018 Humanity Direct Ultra Was a Huge (Muddy) Success!

The overall winner yesterday was Samantha Amend, with an incredible time of 4 hrs 05 mins and nearly 2 mins ahead of the first man, Keith Burrows. It’s the 1st time we’ve had a female overall winner at an Humanity Direct event – very apt, being that the event was sandwiched between International Women’s Day and Mothers Day! Well done to Samantha, for an incredibly powerful run. At the other end of the table was the unbelievable and inspirational Pippa Lloyd who crossed the finish line in the dark in 12hrs 54mins – such determination in the slippery and muddy conditions, which she finds really tough – well done to her!

Here’s a few pictures from the day. A video and updates on the total amount raised for the children in Uganda will be posted soon.

Thanks again to all of the runners and walkers who took part, and to XNRGY and all the amazing volunteers who made the day possible.
