Shafiq's Post-Op Success Story

14-yr-old Shafiq has had successful surgery.

Shafiq had lived for a long time with a hernia that caused him pain and discomfort especially when he walked to school or played football. School became difficult, and his confidence slowly faded as the pain took over more and more of his daily life.

But, thanks to donations from the entrance fees to Septembers XNRG event we were able to cover the costs of his hernia surgery performed by Dr. Dan Namaguzi.

The operation was a complete success preventing future complications and freeing him from daily. Today, Shafiq is walking, smiling, and recovering well—finally able to run, laugh, and most importantly play football.
